Downtown Vision and Redevelopment Plan with housing, retail, office, hospitality, public realm, entertainment and culture development strategies.
The project will produce an actionable Neighborhood Stabilization Plan to mitigate the negative impacts of economic, environmental, and social changes that cause community displacement and provide opportunities for existing communities to stabilize, strengthen, and benefit from these changes. This includes identifying key players or entities for specific actions – including government, community organizations, or other stakeholders – and establishing an implementation schedule and metrics for defining success.
Ideas and Action is advising on analysis of neighborhood conditions and existing plans, policies, programs, and funding across a full spectrum of community development topics including housing, employment and household income, real estate conditions and ownership, community services, institutions and facilities. Advisory scope includes an iterative and collaborative process with the City Planning Team to analyze the viability, legality, economic impact, and advantages/disadvantages of various policy issues.
