Planning framework to facilitate collaboration between communities and the City of Detroit to address vacancy with new productive landscape projects.
The project prototyped “Neighborhood Hubs,” and smaller social spaces maintained in partnership with the community. Additionally, larger clusters were identified for redevelopment and incorporated into RFPs.
Ideas and Action was the Strategic Advisor on economic development and housing strategies in the focus area.
